Honey Lavender Simple Syrup:

In a small saucepan over medium heat, add 1/2 cup of water and 1/2 cup of honey and stir until honey is dissolved. Add in the 1.5 tablespoons of dried lavender and let the syrup begin to simmer (not boil). After simmering for 10 minutes, take the pan off the heat and let cool completely. Strain the syrup and store in an airtight container. The syrup will last about a week in the fridge.

Honey Lavender Lemonade Cocktail:

In a pitcher or individual glasses, combine 4 cups of ice, 1/2 cup of fresh lemon juice, 2 cups of water, 3/4 cup of the prepared honey lavender simple syrup, and 6 oz of vodka or gin. Stir well and serve immediately.
